The Second Generation is better than ever, offering a 5 year warranty for great peace of mind!
Toyota has launched an electric version of the Proace Panel Van, it uses the same 136PS power-train as the Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot e-Expert and Vauxhall Vivaro-e.
It has a choice of not one but two battery sizes:
Providing a range of an impressive 205 miles.
The smaller of the two weighs 383Kg and gives a range of up to 142 miles, while the larger battery tips the scales at 534Kg.
All models have a 7.4kW onboard charger, however you can upgrade to an optional faster 11kW tri-phased onboard charger.
There is a connection socke tin the front left wing which is also compatible with public/third party fast charging charge points, so you need not fear about running out of charge!
A 100kW DC system will deliver an 80% charge in approximately 32 minutes for the 50kW battery 48 minutes of the 75kW battery.
With the battery being located beneath the vehicle floor, there is no impact on Proace’s load capacity when compared to an ICE-powered model.
What about measurements we hear you say?
The Proace Electric is 4,959 mm long and has a 3,275 mm wheelbase, the same as the medium size diesel model.
Fitted as standrad is the Smart Cargo System, extending load length to 3674 mm and a load capacity of 5.8 cubic metres.
The sliding side door openings are wide enough for standard size Euro pallets to be loaded.
Proace Electric has a one tonne payload, this increases to 1.266 tonnes on vans fitted with the lighter 50kWh battery of course!
Single model grade is offered also known as Icon, specification includes:
- Manual air conditioning
- Automatic wipers
- Automatic headlights
- Cruise control
